I have had a long and interesting career in the needle arts since my start in 1963. In addition to running my own shop for 12 years, I spent many years as the art neddlework instructor for Bloomingdales in White Plains, New York.
I have written numerous books on crochet and knitting - some long out of print and others very recent. Most of those in print are available through this web site. You can also see many of my designs and instructions in current needle arts publications
My specialty is free form crochet and knitting which you can learn by attending one of the classes I teach at various events around the country. If you prefer, you can learn first hand from one of my instructional videos or DVD's. Please look around and enjoy this site!
